Commemorate the martyrdom of Monsignor Romero
Lexicos Institute had organized this event on 19th May’18, with the support of Embassy of The Republic of El Salvador in India, to commemorate the martyrdom of Monsignor Romero and to disseminate the message of peace.
Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe (Member of Parliament, National VP of BJP & President of ICCR had been invited as the Chief Guest for the event. The event was engulfed with an art exhibition and a live concert by Los Gatos band
El Lexico de la Salsa
Lexicos Institute had brought the authentic salsa from its homeland country – Colombia through the event – El lexico de la Salsa on 14th April’18. Miss Annielina & Miss Adriana had demonstrated the Salsa in the event.
Birla Videya Niketan Students visit at Embassy of Peru Art Gallery
Lexicos Institute of Languages & cultures and Birla Videya Niketan Class 8 Students were invited by Embassy of Peru on 6th Feb 2018 to visit their art gallery under cultural learning program
La Feria 2017 D.P.S Mathura Road
The director of Lexicos Institute of Languages and cultures Jocely Herrera and the institute’ Professor José Garay, were cordially invited as a guest as well as a jury member at the annual Inter-School Spanish Language Festival “La Feria” 2017, organized on 22nd December by Delhi Public School Society at D.P.S Mathura Road.
The event was hosted by other special guests such as Venezuelan Ambassador Augusto Montiel and his First Secretary, the Charge D ‘Affairs of the Embassy of Salvador Daniel Gutierrez, Professor Salomé Gonzales of the Cervantes Institute and DPS Mathura Road principal Manohar Lal.
In the event, the students showed their knowledge about the Hispanic culture through a fashion show alluding through varied characters of European’ anachronism era. Students also pep up the event by singing new-fangled popular Latin songs like “la bicicleta’ and the traditional Christmas Song ‘cascabel’.
