An undergraduate in Computer Science at University of Texas(Austin). I was lucky to be Jocelyn Singh’s Student during my schooling at New Delhi (India). I have Known her since 2012.I am proud to say that she has been one of the best mentors in my entire educational experience.
I had the oppurtunity to take up Spanish course a few years back. My experience with the Spanish was marvellous because of Jocelyn. She made the classes amusing making the learning process easier. The course was well structured. The classes involved multiple activities for improving listening and speaking skills. The learnings from her were enlightening.
I was taught by Ms. Jocelyn during my Spanish A1 and A2 certification. Her classes are highly interactive and captivate the students attention. Classroom participation in the form of educative activities and discussions make the learning process very smooth and enjoyable.
I, Jasleen Singh Nagpal, an ex-student at St. Columbas’ school, batch of 2016-17, currently studying at Delhi University has found ma’am to be a teacher of great potential and I’m sure as I speak on the behalf of my school, that she helped us develop a keen interest in the Spanish Language.
About 6 years ago, I stepped foot into my first Spanish class. A language which was totally foreign to me became one of the most scoring subjects for me. And of course, the credit to that goes to Mrs. Jocelyn. It’s not just the way she taught which stood out; it was all the interesting activities, stories that made her classes alluring.
I have always seen Jocelyn as a energetic teacher and as a magnificent human being. Her classroom sessions have always been informative and interactive. The learning was not limited to classroom. During the process I happen to learn a lot about Spanish and Latin American cultures.
